We know that Puerto Rico faces many challenges, but we firmly believe that the next generation of talented young Puerto Ricans will be the ones to tackle the island’s most pressing problems. Their optimism, energy, outstanding academic achievements, and tireless pursuit of their college dreams are the fuel our island needs to achieve the transformation we so urgently require.

 

I owe a great debt of gratitude to programs like Kinesis. Despite coming from a low-income family as the son of a single mother, I was able to study at one of the most competitive universities in the world—Harvard—thanks to programs like this one.​
