THE NEED IN P.R.

EPOVERTY IN P.R.
Twice as poor as the poorest state in the union with a 57% childhood poverty rate
compared to 14%
in the US.
To be competitive, PR needs a highly skilled workforce, but 73% of the adult population lacks a postsecondary education.
UNDERDEVELOPED WORKFORCE
Education is the key, but schools are short staffed and counselors have an average caseload of 571
students.

Camila Y. Molina García
Her leadership and talent for public speaking are notable in a conversation with Camila Yarí Molina García, a third-year student at the School of Communication at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. Camila is on track to complete a Bachelor's in Information and Journalism combined with a minor in Drama, aspiring to become both a journalist and actress.

Daniel A. Silva Nazario
When he was very young, Daniel discovered the night sky, fostering an interest in stargazing, sparking his idea to build a rocket. The merging of this interest with his adeptness for assembly and creation, a trait shared with his mechanic father, steered him toward pursuing Aerospace Engineering.

Investing in education transforms the future of Puerto Rico.
