Bryan Garcia, from Dorado, Puerto Rico, dreamed of achieving big goals from a young age but faced uncertainty about how to get there. Although his aspirations were clear, he didn't know how to navigate the college admissions process, especially outside of Puerto Rico, or how to cover the costs of his studies. However, everything changed when her life crossed paths with the Kinesis Foundation.
Through the Bright Stars program, Bryan received the support he needed to overcome financial barriers and get accurate guidance every step of the way. Thanks to Kinesis, he was not only able to attend college without placing a financial burden on his family, but he was also accepted to leading institutions such as Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Rochester, and Syracuse, among others. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico, consolidating himself as a leader in his field.
The impact of Kinesis in his life is not limited to education. Inspired by the value of “give back” instilled by the Foundation, Bryan founded his own company focused on technology education, giving back to the community as part of what he received. His entrepreneurship, along with recognitions such as Forbes 30 Under 30, GSEA LATAM Semi-Finalist, and the HolonIQ Impact 50 PR, are a testament to his dedication and success.
Bryan has also collaborated with Kinesis by teaching Bright Stars students, demonstrating his commitment to the Foundation's mission. “Kinesis not only eliminated financial worry but also connected me with people who are key to my personal and professional growth,” Bryan says, noting the ongoing support of the Kinesis team.
His story reflects how combining talent, determination, and the right support can transform lives. Today, Bryan encourages other students to not limit themselves, to take risks, and to pursue their passions. His message is clear: “Success comes from being authentic and committing to what fulfills us.”
